How A Bail Bond Works
When a judge sets bail, your loved one can go home until their case is resolved, as long as the full bail amount is guaranteed. Most families cannot pay that amount on their own. A bail bond solves that problem.
With a surety bail bond, you pay a premium to the bail agency instead of the full bail amount. Our premiums start at 10% of the bail amount. The agency then guarantees the full amount to the court. In return, a cosigner agrees to help make sure the defendant goes to every court date.
